- Charcoal has a burn time of 10–15~ minutes. Do not leave the incense pot unattended while charcoal is still burning

- If washing to remove ash residue, please rinse with plain water, do not use soap or a scrub brush, and dry thoroughly to ensure no moisture is left behind
- Over time, the ash will retain the scent of incense burned on it. To maintain the purity of scent using the kōro method, refresh the ash if you’re using it to hold and burn varying scents of incense
