More than fifty years since Gaby Aghion imagined it, Chloé's romantic, ultra-feminine fashion vision has developed a vocabulary that transcends eras. Today Clare Waight Keller captures that spirit with her own imprint.
The Chloé woman is never worn by her garment, styling the clothes in her way, with her wardrobe. Chiffon, gossamer silks, denim, leather: the collection is easy to coordinate, fashion of high-end ease.

This was the house that made Karl Lagerfeld, Martine Sitbon, Stella McCartney and Phoebe Philo. Today Clare Waight Keller helms the house. Waight Keller went back to school for the new season, with "night buses, independent spirit, bare legs, dorm rooms, bike sheds, flirting, cold nights, touch girls," as her inspiration. Featuring duffle coat details, sweat top shirts, jacquard fur pullovers in boyfriend shapes, bermuda shorts and colourful suede patched tweed, youth nostalgia got a contemporary twist.
“You do things by emotion when you are in fashion—that's part of the excitement about this industry. I would say do it from your gut. That's something that makes you very true. That means a lot, I think.”
