Morning Beauty Routine
“My beauty routine each morning is quick, yet effective. Before anything, I always spray a generous amount of our Pure Rosewater on my face. Then, I moisturize with our Rose de Mai Cream. It has a mixture of plant and flower stem cells that are rich in anti-aging benefits. I then apply our Nano Gold Energizing Eye Cream. It’s infused with 24K gold, which has major antioxidant and soothing properties. Next I apply Le Camouflage Stylo, which goes on with just one swipe of the clickable pen. For a healthy glow, I add highlighter to my cheeks with our Liquid Lumiere . On my way out the door, after I kiss my daughter goodbye, I’ll apply Lip Chic in our new Spring shade, Wild Poppy.”
Favourite New York Haunts
“I like to have breakfast meetings at Locanda Verde in TriBeCa. It’s an Italian restaurant with a rustic, elegant atmosphere. Especially popular are the lemon ricotta pancakes. For dinner, I love Sant Ambroeus in SoHo. It’s one of my favorite spots to grab a bite with my husband or meet up with friends. It’s always bustling and I love the traditional Milanese cuisine. It reminds me of when I lived in Milan. The new Whitney Museum in the Meatpacking District is wonderful, on the weekends, I enjoy going with my daughter to the art making workshops. ”
Making a Change
“Each season, we collaborate with a different cause that needs immediate attention, allowing us to serve as a voice for those who don’t have one. For Spring Summer 2016, we created an eye and cheek palette to bring awareness to the sustainable harvesting and fair trade of wild plants. We partnered with TRAFFIC.org in support of the FairWild Standard. We immerse ourselves in the issue and make lifelong friends along the way; it’s both inspiring and educational.”
Collecting Art
“My husband, Ren, and I have a lot of fun looking at art and discovering new talent. Every piece of art we own has a significant meaning to us – maybe the artist has become a friend or we found a special piece while traveling. I’m excited about my friend’s new gallery, Voltz Clarke Gallery in SoHo. She has a great eye for up and coming artist. I love her latest artist – Holly Cunningham. Some of my favorite pieces in our home are from Will Cotton, Richard Sera, James Nares and Cy Twombly.”
Keeping a Balance
“Family time is very important to me, I make sure to dedicate time in the morning before work and in the evening after work to spend time with my daughter and husband as a family. To relax and unwind outside of the city, we go out to our family’s house in East Hampton. I love spending time in nature whether it’s outside in our garden or at the beach. In the city, I take cooking and art classes with my daughter where we can create something together. It’s a lot of fun!”
Ahead of the official launch on March 21, Chantecaille’s new Blanc Gardenia Whitening Essence will pre-launch exclusively at Lane Crawford on March 14.
