Lane Crawford's New-Look Store
2011-10-11 08:10:00.0Lane Crawford welcomes you to its new-look luxurious retail space on Canton Road in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong — with 100,000 square feet of retail wonderment spread across four levels in the Harbour City mall.
The new store launches “The Shoe Library,” Asia’s largest women’s shoes and accessories department, and “lab by Lane Crawford,” a new concept featuring women’s contemporary fashion designers which will also roll out as a freestanding store model in locations across Hong Kong and China.
This new space, at 100,000 square feet, sets the standard for the new Lane Crawford model,” said Andrew Keith, President of Lane Crawford. “It is the minimum size we now require to give our customers and brands the most comprehensive designer fashion offer in Asia, as well as an unparalleled shopping experience in a visually creative and stimulating environment.”
The store has been extended and redesigned with new concepts in Women’s fashion — with more than 20,000 square feet dedicated to key designer brands such as Alexander McQueen, Azzedine Alaïa, Dries Van Noten, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, Lanvin and Stella McCartney — plus a Cosmetics powerhouse section, and a more definitive offer of Menswear and Home & Lifestyle.
In its commitment to the arts, Lane Crawford is pleased to be supporting three exceptional Hong Kong artists: anothermountainman, Simon Birch and Prodip. Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in art, design and music, the three have collaborated to produce a landmark installation in the Canton Road store windows. A hymn to the contemporary and a retrospective of this city’s colourful past, “Guilt In The Heart Of The Indefinables” points to an astonishing hybrid future of animals, monsters, mechanical bodies and abstraction.
