When it comes to snapping the ultimate selfie - one that is flattering, but doesn’t look like you ran it through seven different filters - makeup plays a major role. A base that reflects light, giving your skin, a diffused, even-toned glow is key. It’s also a rare occasion where it’s best to skip the sunblock, as certain formulas can make you look washed out on camera.

Apply primer onto your skin to create an even glow. Make sure not to miss any small areas, such as around your nose and mouth.
Apply the enhance shade of eyeshadows from the outer corner across the crease of your eyelid, blend with your fingertips.
Use a brusher blush, sweep cheek colour on the apples of each side. To ensure you don’t apply the blush too low, make sure to smile.
Fill in lips with a bold, bright lipstick.
