Dior Miami How to nail beachy, bright makeup - IRL
Lane Crawford has collaborated with Dior Beauty to create Dior Miami, a collection of makeup, skincare and fragrance that’s perfect for South Beach inspired pool days, and steamy nights dancing.
To learn how to nail the bright, beachy makeup in the collection we asked three of our favourite Hong Kong women to each try a different Dior Miami beauty look. Here are the results:
Pink Flamingo
“I used eyeshadow primer to help eye shadow stay put and up the intensity of the colours, adding a little liner slightly longer than the eyeline to keep the eyes from looking too round and cutesy. I finished off the look with groomed - but not too done - brows in a lighter shade, because it’s fresher for summer.”

“While the pairing of pink, marigold and violet eye colours is dramatic, I want the makeup to look natural and effortless so I used finger tips to apply the blush and to blend the lip color. I paired the colour pops with dewy foundation with this look for a ‘just stepped off the beach’ vibe.”

“To keep the look fresh and summery, I swapped heavy foundation for a dewy, light BB cream. I also added a little of the blush to not just cheeks, but also the nose and forehead, for the subtle sun-kissed effect. Finally, lashings of mascara. I can’t live without it!”
